The cap/spout was originally launched to eliminate spilling from cube milk jugs sold regionally at certain warehouse club stores. Our new design will work on those same jugs, but our new design allows for more size ranges to handle pouring from most bulk liquid containers. I'm still working on a launch date, but if you have any questions prior to the release of the new caps e-mail me: Rob Fuglie
The Pour-Ease concept developed from need. I needed to pour milk into my coffee without spilling. From that experience I began to realize how many products we buy in bulk. From window cleaner to motor oil, we save when we purchase in bulk....
.... but there are trade-offs.
Bulk liquids tend to get poured into other things for their final use: Milk into coffee isn't that different to window cleaner into a spray bottle. You have 1 gallon or more of something, and you want to put SOME of it into something else.... without spilling.
Since the middle of 2013 I have been working on a fix that would eliminate certain variabilities between jugs. The goal has been to expand the cap/spout use to all jugs in your household. Whether milk from Costco or your local grocery, whether transferring bulk window/glass cleaner to a smaller spray bottle, or putting windshield wash in your car: this design will help you. Any design we had for "one size fits all" proved to fail quickly. So we'll be releasing one design in multiple sizes.
After many, many attempts at work arounds and prototypes, it looks like we're nearing the final solution. A final round of prototypes is on schedule, then some manufacturing updates, and pretty soon.... no more crying over spilled anything!
